Ridit Sunil Nimdia (born 2004) is a chess player from Mumbai, India. He has participated in nine national championships in India.
In July–August 2010, at the age of 5 he participated in the Under-7 section of the 6th World School Chess Championship held in Kayseri, Turkey.[1] He claimed third position[2] with a score of 6.5/9.[2]
The fact of Ridit Nimdia being the youngest rated player was verified and recorded by the Limca Book of Records in the 2012 edition with his photograph. [citation needed]
He also defeated a FIDE rated player in a world championship at the youngest age.[3]
