Rik Amrit (Bengali: ঋক অমৃত) (born Amritanath Bhattacharya) is an Indian poet, Actor, playwright, and Theatre director from Kolkata, West Bengal.[1][2][3][4] He was the creative director of Bengal Repertory and had started a destination theatre festival in West Bengal.[5][6][7]

Rik is well known for his first destination theatre festival, Natya Dhara.[8][9][10] Apart from organising theatre festivals, he has also written, produced and directed theatre productions for Bengal Repertory; some of them are
Films & Television
In 2018, Rik debuted as an actor opposite Rii Sen in the movie Yeh Rishta, directed by Soumojit Adak, which earned him significant recognition.[13][14][15] After Yeh Rishta, he acted in Pocket Films' The Lust Celebration, released on YouTube and gained 1 Million views in no time.[16] His third film is Korapaak in 2020 opposite Sourav Das (actor) and Payel Sarkar[17] He has worked as an Edit Producer with renowned Indian director and producer Subhankar Chattopadhyay on several well-known non-fiction television series, including Dadagiri Unlimited, Dance Bangla Dance, Mirakkel and Super Singer (Bengali TV series)[18]
