Rikkeisoft is an IT service provider headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, with offices in Vietnam and Japan. Founded in 2012, Rikkeisoft offers technology services and solutions for domestic and international enterprises.
History[edit]
In April 2012, Rikkeisoft was founded in Hanoi by a group of 6 software engineers and friends, led by Ta Son Tung (later Chairman of the company). The name “Rikkei” was created by combining the names of "Ritsumeikan University" and "Keio University", alma maters of the founders.[1] Shortly after, in 2013, Rikkeisoft reached 50 employees.
In 2014, Rikkeisoft was recognized as one of the top 30 ICT companies in Vietnam by the Vietnam Software Association.[2] During this year, the company raised its nominal capital to 25,000,000 yen.
In 2016, Rikkei Japan Inc. was founded in Tokyo as Rikkeisoft’s representative in Japan. The same year, Rikkeisoft opened its first Vietnamese branch office in Danang.
In 2018, Rikkeisoft reached the 500 employees milestone after 6 years of establishment.
In 2019, the company opened its new Ho Chi Minh City branch and its subsidiary Rikkei AI (researching and developing applications of artificial intelligence).
In 2020, the Osaka branch was established as the second branch of Rikkei Japan.[3]
In 2021, Rikkei Capital[4] was founded as a new subsidiary of Rikkeisoft, acting as an incubator fund for budding and potential projects.
In 2022, Rikkeisoft founded Rikkei Academy[5] and Rikkei Digital[6] as its newest subsidiaries, focusing on training developers and providing digital conversion services respectively. In the same year, it also opened two new branches in both Hue, Vietnam and Fukuoka, Japan, further expanding the reach of Rikkeisoft’s services and its range of offerings.
