Rise FM Denmark is an Internet radio broadcaster playing various types of electronic music including Trance, Dance and House. The station is owned and run by Denmark-based Rise Future Media and broadcasts a variety of disk jockey-hosted shows.[1]

The station was founded in 2002,[2] then under the name Rise FM.[3] At that time, the videogame Grand Theft Auto III coincidentally featured a radio station with the same name. However, the two stations were not related.

Rise FM shut down in 2008,[4] but the people behind it continued to work behind the scenes, and, in May 2016, the station was re-launched as Rise FM Denmark.[5] Denmark was added to the name to make it stand out from other stations named Rise FM.
