Career

Karting (2019)

Rishab began karting professionally in 2019 after he was told by a karting track owner that he had the potential to race professionally after a karting session in Spain.[1] He returned to Singapore and started practicing at the CIK-FIA Homologated KF1 Karting Circuit, before participating in the 2019 Karting Championship Singapore.

Rishab subsequently went on a one-year hiatus from racing during the initial period of COVID-19 as all racing events were temporarily suspended. At the same time, he was enlisted into the Singapore Armed Forces Commando Formation to serve a mandatory period of National Service.

Radical Cup Korea (2021)

Rishab made his international motor racing debut, immediately when COVID-19 travel restrictions were lifted, at the 5th round of the 2021 Radical Cup Korea. Starting on the grid with the least experience, Rishab qualified 9th and managed to finish 3rd, clinching a podium placing on debut[2].

Italian F4 Championship (2022)

In 2022, Rishab made his single-seater debut at the Italian F4 Championship with BWR Motorsports.[3]

Sustainability

For 2022, Rishab partners with Orbis International where he wishes for his racing efforts to become a worldwide visual that supports the vocal pursuit to end avoidable blindness.[4]

Personal life

Education

Rishab is currently an undergraduate student at the National University of Singapore where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration. He had previously graduated from Global Indian International School with an International Baccalaureate Diploma.[5]

National Service

Rishab was enlisted into National Service in Singapore on 3rd July, 2019, where he completed his Basic Military Training (BMTC) at Basic Military Training Centre (BMTC), located at Pulau Tekong. He was then posted to Specialist Cadet School before graduating as a Third Sergeant. He was then appointed as the Company Quartermaster Sergeant at the Singapore Armed Forces Commando Formation. Rishab officially completed his National Service on 2nd May, 2022.[citation needed]
