Rita Bakshi
Rita Bakshi is an Indian gynaecologist and IVF specialist based in New Delhi. She is the founder and chairperson of International Fertility Centre[1], the oldest fertility clinic and one of the most renowned IVF clinics in India.[2][3][4]
Biography[edit]
She trained in multiple hospitals beginning in 1978, including Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi where she completed her MBBS. Bakshi completed her MD (Gynae & Obstetrics) at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi in 1997. She is trained in Assisted Reproductive Technology and In Vitro Fertilization from the Kolkata Institute of Reproductive Medicine under Dr. B.N. Chakravorty. She took advanced training in tubal microsurgery and a World Health Organization fellowship in Gynae Oncology at AIIMS Delhi. She holds a Diploma in ART from KKIVF Hospital Singapore and a Diploma in endoscopy from Kiel, Germany.
She has conducted over 4000 cesarean sections and about 3000 hysterectomies.[5] Her expertise lies in both IVF and IUI Treatment. She continues her practice at International Fertility Centre in Green Park, Delhi Bakshi has experience in all fields of assisted conception, with a special interest in IVF and Egg Donor Surrogacy. She is the founder of ADIVA group of Hospitals.
