Ritu Kant Ojha, is an Indian entrepreneur, author, and columnist based in Dubai. He authoredf Real Conversations in Digital Age, focusing on the impact of technology on human social behaviour.[1] He contributes columns on leadership, technology, environment and sustainability in BusinessWorld,[2] and The Indian Express.[3]

Ojha promotes the cause of decarbonisation and net-zero through audio content platform, Wiyld.[citation needed] Since 2020, he runs his podcast, Real Conversations with Ritu Kant [4]

Early life and education[edit]

After graduating in economics from Lucknow University[citation needed], he completed his Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Jagran Institute of Management & Mass Communication, NOIDA in 2005[citation needed] and later a one-year general management program from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow in 2013.[citation needed]

Career[edit]

In 2010, Ojha joined The Indian Express as the Assistant Editor and the Editor of the "Express Money" and "Express Estate" pages.[citation needed] He wrote weekly columns and news stories on a wide range of personal finance and entrepreneurship-related topics.[citation needed] One of his stories, published in 2012, detailed the rift between the then Pension Fund Regulatory Development Authority (PFRDA) chief, Yogesh Agarwal[5] and the Finance Ministry. Agarwal was later unceremoniously relieved from his duties in 2013 and arrested in 2017[6] in the Vijay Mallya loan default case. Ojha interviewed Congress leader, and then cabinet minister, Kamal Nath [7] in Singapore during a CREDAI conference in 2011 during which Nath, admitted India failed to make progress in the land economics. He is quoted by media on policy, entrepreneurship and environment.[8][9] Accredited as a journalist by EXPO2020,[citation needed] he was invited by the UNFCCC to the COP27 summit at Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.[citation needed]

Ojha launched his advisory firm Wiyld Carbon in 2013 with offices in India, United States and the Middle East.[citation needed]

He was invited as a speaker to IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIM Gaya, COP27, GITEX2022, EXPO2020 and FUTRWorld and has spoken in some of the global entrepreneurship summits.[10] He was mentioned in the Tata Review magazine in the year 2021 for his contribution towards counselling school children.[11][12]
