RoadTrip is a five-piece British-Irish pop boy band[1] managed by Blair Dreelan[2], composed of Rye Beaumont, Brooklyn Wyatt, Andy Fowler, Jack Duff and Ryan Robertson; former member, Mikey Cobban who departed the group in May 2019.[3]

Career[edit]

2015-2016: Formation and career beginning[edit]

They started the career by covering songs and posted on the YouTube channel, they also upload vlogs on their channel everyday which give their fans a glimpse in the crazy yet awesome life of being in RoadTrip.[4]

2017-2018: Miss Taken and Tokyo Hotel [edit]

The band released their first debut extended play, Miss Taken on April 13, 2017, composing of 5 tracks. Only a few hours after its release, the EP was in the Top 10 on iTunes.[5] They launched the five-show EP tour starting from March 11 to April 1.[4]

The band announced the pre-order for the six-track project, Tokyo Hotel.[6] Only a few hours after the EP became available for pre-order, it managed to gain an excellent chart position in the iTunes Pre-Order Charts and peaked atop the iTunes chart.[7]

In January, the band announced the tour dates for their second tour, The Pop Hits Tour with 11 shows.[8] After the first tour held from March to April, the band revealed the tour dates and shows for their second tour in 2018, The Summertime Tour. [9] The band later dropped out the non-album release track, "Take This Home" on July 29, 2018.[10] After the release of the single, the band disclosed details for their third tour in 2018, entitled Take This Home Tour.[11]

2019-present: Dynamite and lineup change[edit]

In May 2019, Mikey Cobban announced his departure from the band,[3] and Ryan Robertson came on in a trial position. After the lineup change in the five-piece boy band, they dropped the long-awaited work, Dynamite, with 5 tracks.[12][13]
