Biography[edit]

The Robert Jay Band released the single "Red Bullet" in 1994. The song was picked up by Frits Spits who played the song in his program De Avondspits. As a result, the Robert Jay Band signed a recording contract with EMI and went on various club tours at home and abroad.[2] During these tours the band was accompanied by musicians such as Hans Duffer, Cesar Zuiderwijk, Ton Dijkman, Cees ten Dam, Will Maas, Roger Cicero, Michel van Schie, Jimi Bellmartin, Martin Verdonk and Nippy Noya. Since 2019, the Robert Jay Band has been playing with Tollak Ollestad as the new lead singer. In 2019, 25 years after the first release, the remake of ''Red Bullet'' with new lead singer Tollak Ollestad was also released.[3]
