Robert Wayne (born October 12, 1991), known professionally by his stage name Ezediel, is an Ind. American musician.

Career[edit]

Although rooted largely in hardcore, rap and hip-hop, Wayne's work has drawn stylistic elements from a diverse range of genres, including grunge, electronic, experimental, and nu-metal. He cites his main influences as being Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Kanye West, Mozart and Nujabes. He has stated that he prefers to spend time crafting refined and focused individual songs, calling himself “more of a sniper than a guy with a machine gun”.[1]

His second single, Feeding the Snake, drew rapid interest, amassing over a million listens on YouTube within a month of release.[2]

Discography[edit]

  • Feeding the Snake (Wayne Ind. Records, 2020)
  • Into the Midnight (Wayne Ind. Records, 2019)

Personal life[edit]

Wayne has stated in his first interview ever made by Toto Cutugno's studio in Milan that he grew up in “an awful environment”, and began his musical career as a method of dealing with “dark times” in his life. He considers music to be a method of “communicating with the universe”, and “a powerful weapon to communicate with people” and help them heal too.[1]

Wayne is a competitor of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, as well as an aficionado of art and cinema.
