RoboMarkets Ltd is a European multi-asset broker (earlier RoboForex (CY) Ltd), regulated by the CySEC, license No. 191/13. The Company provides financial services only residents of the European Union and the European Economic Area. The headquarters is located in Limassol (Cyprus).[1].
The broker is a member of the Investor Compensation Fund (ICF[1]) of Cyprus, which provides clients of the companies registered in the CySEC[1] with compensation payments, if the companies aren't able to pay them on their own.

- European broker RoboForex (CY) Ltd was founded in 2012[2].

- Became an Official sponsor of the Limassol Police football team and has sponsored the team since then[3].
2017[edit]
- As a result of rebranding, changed the name to RoboMarkets Ltd[4].
- Opened a regional office in Germany[5].
- Became an Official sponsor of “Starikovich-Heskes” at the Dakar 2017 rally.
2018[edit]
- Became an Official sponsor of Andrei Kulebin[6], a Muay Thai fighter and a kickboxing world champion from the Republic of Belarus, and a Lithuanian basketball club Žalgiris (Kaunas) for 2018-2019 season[7][8].
- Opened a representative office in Prague, Czech Republic, which is situated in the "Dancing House" on the Rašínovo nábřeží (Rašín Embankment)[9][10].

- Became an Official sponsor of race teams “Autolife” and BMW M Motorsport[11].
- Started supporting TRB-Danoi ΑΕΛ (AEL Limassol), a Cypriot volleyball team, which is now called “RoboMarkets AEL”[12][13][14].
- Opened a Tied Agent in Lithuania[15].
Stages of development[edit]
On July 10th, 2013, the Board of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, announced[16] granting the CIF (Cyprus Investment Firm) authorization to RoboForex (CY) Ltd. Since then, the broker was operating as a legal investment company within the European Economic Area.
Two months before the company's rebranding to RoboMarkets Ltd[4], it presented a new feature to its proprietary R Trader platform[17]: an integrated strategy builder that allows creating trading robots within the platform’s interface.
In December 2017, RoboForex (CY) Ltd conducted a rebranding to RoboMarkets Ltd. CBO of the company in his interview later in 2018 confirmed[18] that the rebranding was due to the need of differentiating two brands within their group of companies, as well as the desire to expand to more local European markets.
In the same interview, RoboMarkets executive announced the opening of the company’s Representative office in Prague[18], which followed a Tight Agent in Germany.
In June 2018, the broker introduced the trading of real US stocks in its R Trader platform[19]. The expansion included 3,000 instruments from NYSE and NASDAQ.
In 2019, the company set an operation of another Tied Agent[15], this time in Lithuania. RoboMarkets Baltics is registered in the Bank of Lithuania[20].
Public Recognition[edit]
Within a couple of past years, RoboMarkets was recognized by several professional and non-professional organizations. In 2018, the company received an award[21] during London Forex Show (now - London Trader Show[22]) - one of the UK events which gather both traders, investors, and brokers for a day of discussions and workshops around financial markets.
The same year, RoboMarkets Ltd appeared among award winners of the Global Brands Magazine in “Forex Awards” category[23].
2019 brought in the status of a winner of Global Forex Awards for the company[24]. The award was granted during a ceremony held in Limassol, Cyprus.
Global expansion[edit]
RoboMarkets brand outreached the European Economic Zone in late 2019 when RoboMarkets Asia Ltd received its Labuan license[25][26]
RoboMarkets Asia[26] is a separate legal entity that works under the RoboMarkets brand on the Asian territories such as Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, and Thailand.
