Rock'n'roll Tonight is the first single by Alex Angel from the album "Black Angels", firstly recorded in 2006. As a single it was released on spotify in July, 2021[1].
Song description[edit]
The song has two versions: full-length and radio-edit. The song was frequently performed by Black Angels on concerts from 2006 to 2014 and became recognizable by old-school fans from Kiev. But in 2016 the song got a worldwide popularity after the 1-st version of music video was released. Same year the video was shown on PICU TV internet channel. In 2017 the song took part in the UK Eurovision casting and got the review of Roy D Hacksaw on Eurovision Apocalypse[2].
Music video[edit]
The first music video was presented on April 18, 2016 (directed by Andrey Korotich, Sasha Kumeyko) and in 2022 gained 3 million views[3]. The video was shot in sex rock style. The main roles were performed by Lyudmila Baglai, Anna Kovalchuk, Eugenia Almazova and Daria Kazantseva. Firstly the singer gets interested in Eugenia Almazova and Daria Kazantseva and starts admiring them, but then he notices Lyudmila Baglai dancing on a pole and charmed by her dance he starts making love with her, leaving two other women alone.
The second video was uploaded on August 31, 2019 and gained more than 26 million views[4] that made a video one of the most viewed. It shows a Kissing Show performed by Alex Angel and a red-hair lady in Ostrovsky park.
