The band Rocket are an alternative rock, pop rock, post grunge band that includes Janelle Barreto (Vocals), Eric Wibbelsmann (Guitar), Jordan Lawson (Bass), Steve Kilcullen (Guitar) and Paul DePatie (Drums). They were formed in Los Angeles in late 2013. [1]

In early 2017, after losing the band's original bassist due to creative differences, founding members Barreto and Wibbelsmann held auditions and hired Jordan Lawson, former bassist for The Flys (US band) and The Nymphs, as well as Steve Kilcullen who would now be their rhythm guitarist.

Rocket has shared the stage with many other well known acts including Missing Persons (band), Bow Wow Wow, Alien Ant Farm, Puddle of Mudd, The Killers, Tarja Turunen and others. The band's sound and style has been compared to other groups including Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters and others. [2] Recently, for their official debut single in 2019, “GIANTS,” the band worked with Grammy Award Nominated producer Mark Needham (Imagine Dragons, The Killers, Pink, Neon Trees) and recording engineer Doug Grean (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, Sheryl Crow.)

One of the “Best Bands to Catch” by CBS Los Angeles [3], the band has performed at Whisky a Go Go, The El Rey [4], The Viper Room and others. Their new single “GIANTS” will also include a music video which will be released later this year in 2019. [5] Rocket was recently featured on the Frosty, Heidi and Frank Show on KLOS radio in Los Angeles and applauded by listeners. [6]
