Rocky Rap Studios was a record label that was serving Raleigh in Memphis, Tennessee. It was founded on January 27, 1990 by Austin Lane. This record label was a parent company to PBG Productions. On February 3 the label hired at least 200 artists and no producers. In 1993 it hired at 600 artists and 312 producers at the time then in November it lost 27 producers at the time. The record label was previously serving Frayser, but it switched spots in 1991 due to losing its foundation. On October 1, 1995 the record label hired 100 artists and 75 producers but lost 35 artists and 30 producers three weeks later. In 2012 the record label was offsale.
Transforming Residents and Taking Over Rocky Rap Studios
In 2001 the PBG Production Company agreed to a decision by Austin Lane that is CEO of Rocky Rap Studios. Which that the residents of Rocky Rap Studios was transferred toPBG PBG Productions. Residents were getting transferred in 2002. Rocky Rap Studios have been losing artists during 2002. In 2002 the record label has lost 789 artists. The 789 artists were transferred to PBG Productions. PBG Productions didn't want to this but they had no other choice. As calculation states PBG Productions served 1,716 artists in 2007. PBG Productions had the authority to this. Because PBG Productions was merged in 2000. Rocky Rap Studios has been losing its residents since 2006.
In 2010 Rocky Rap Studios stop serving PBG Productions started hiring new artists. By the end of 2010 Rocky Rap Studios was serving 2,000 artists, While PBG Productions was serving the same amount since 2007. In 2011 Rocky Rap Studios started back once again serving PBG Productions. But this time Rocky Rap Studios and PBG Productions served 3,000 artists and 1,000 producers each. But Rocky Rap Studios gained more, While PBG Productions was half equal.
The Raleigh Community decision to take over Rocky Rap Studios
In 2009 the Raleigh community decided to close it's company service and disband Rocky Rap Studios. The decision was made because of Rocky Rap Studios being a parent company to PBG Productions and been taken over by PBG Productions from 2001-2006. They agreed on to start closing Rocky Rap Studios at the end of 2013. And also from it being a parent company towards PBG Productions. At the time Rocky Rap Studios and the PBG Productions were poor this why they starting being linked with each other in 1998.
Rocky Rap Studios Building
As of today the Rocky Rap Studios building is located on Raleigh Lagrange. The record label been located on the same location since 1991. The closing for the building was December 20, 2013. And been closed every since. The building is described as an empty building with six studio rooms, one main office, and a longue. The acre lot has not been recorded. The building was previously a church that was built from 1978 from 1989.
Austin Lane (Founder)[edit]
Austin Lane better known as Austin Jonathan Lane is the founder of Rocky Rap Studios. As a family member, he currently the brother of Micheal Lane. He was born in Miami, Flordia. He was born on August 12, 1959. Austin helped Rocky Rap Studios serve the residents of PBG Productions from 1998-2013. While the CEO Of PBG Productions help serve residents of Rocky Rap Studios. As of 2013 Austin Lane probably worth at least $2.7 million dollars from heading Rocky Rap Studios. As of today Austin Lane worth $1.3 million dollars.
