Rodrigo Ternevoy (born March 18, 1984) is a Brazilian..[1][2] / Irish actor[3] from São Caetano do Sul a city in São Paulo state in Brazil. He is best known for his role as Cristiano San Martin in the soap opera Fair City on RTÉ One.
Early life[edit]
Rodrigo Ternevoy[4] arrived in Ireland in 2008 to learn English and in 2011 he finished his post graduate in DIT in Dublin . He then went into acting and graduated from Bow Street Academy in 2015.
Career[edit]
In 2016 he starred in Fair City[5] as the recurring character Cristiano San Martin[6] and he is still playing the role.
In 2019 he was involved in a very dramatic domestic abuse storyline within a same sex couple on Fair City[7] [8] [9][10] [11].
In 2020 he was involved in the movie The Green Sea[12] written and directed by Randal Plunkett[13] and staring actress Katharine Isabelle[14]
Personal Life[edit]
Ternevoy was born and raised in São Caetano do Sul in ABC Region.. He graduated from Universidade Municipal de São Caetano do Sul.
Ternevoy has been married to Dr David Edward Campbell[15] [16] a lecturer in the University of Oxford since 2016 when they tied the knot after 8 years together[17].
They had to wait until the same-sex marriage in the Republic of Ireland became law in 2015 through a referendum. Ternevoy was part of the Marriage Referendum and Age of Presidential Candidates Referendum’s campaign[18] as an actor in 2015.
