Rohan B. Brown

Rohan Brandon Brown (born January 1, 1991) is an American entrepreneur, businessmen and former college basketball player from Hartford, Connecticut.

He was a two-time all-state selection at East Catholic High School where he averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior, was named to the Hartford Courant Fab 15 team, and was MVP of the Connecticut High School Coaches Association All-Star game.[1]

Brown received his B.A. in Mass Communication and M.B.A. in Finance from La Salle University where he was a guard/forward on the Explorer's men's basketball team from 2012-2016,[2] a member of the 2013 NCAA Tournament team that advanced to the Sweet Sixteen after defeating Boise State in the First Four, Kansas State in the Round of 64, and Ole Miss in the Round of 32, and sits on the LaSalle University Alumni Association Board of Directors.[3]

Brown is the founder of Barley, Inc.[4] a remote ordering and social mapping mobile application which launched in Philadelphia in 2019[5][6] and expanded to Miami in 2022.

He has competed in several startup competitions including the MIT Sports Analytics Conference, Silicon Dragon at the Nasdaq Center, and the web series Entrepreneur Elevator Pitch. In late 2021, Brown announced that EntrepreneurTV contracted him to write, produce and star in a docu-series on the launch and evolution of Barley.[7]
