Rohit Saxena (born 13 November 1979) is an Indian journalist and media personality. He is the senior advisor of Media & Entertainment Skills Council of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.[1] Rohit is also the CEO & managing editor of Parliamentary Business.[2] Rohit has contributed his services with the notable news channels such as Sahara Samay, NDTV, Zee News, News Express, News Nation, National voice, India Voice, News World India and TV24.[3][4]

Early Life and career[edit]

Rohit was born on 13 November 1979 in Kanpur. He has completed his schooling from Mother Teresa Modern Convent school Kanpur and Graduation/PG from DAV College, Kanpur. He has done MBA from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur. After completing masters, he started his career from Dainik Jagran as a senor executive in 2005. Rohit has also won many Gold medals in state and national level sport competition.[5]

Rohit joined Sahara Samay in 2006 as an assistant manager and then NDTV India in 2008 and in 2009 he joined Zee News as regional head senior manager. He was Re-elected Unopposed President Kanpur Taekwondo Association in 2010. In 2013 he joined News Express as Asst. Vice President and later he joined News Nation and K News.

Rohit became the chief operating officer in India Voice and National Voice news channel in 2017.[6]

He was elected as President Amateur Body Building Federation in 2017 and President Amateur Boxing Asso. Of Gautambuddh Nagar in 2018.

In 2018, He became group CEO in News World India and CEO in TV24 news channels.[7]

In 2019, Rohit was selected as the chairman of Media Committee Taekwondo Federation of India and vice president of Uttar Pradesh Taekwondo Association.[8]

  • Bronze Medal in Lucknow and became 14th UP State Male Black Belts in 1997
  • Gold Medal and became 15th UP State Male Black Belts, Color Belt, Female Senior Junior and Sub-juniors Champion in 1997
  • Gold Medal at Rai Bareilly & became 16th U. P. State TKD Champion in 1998 Silver Medal in Pratapgarh
  • Silver Medals in Bareilly and State Taekwondo Champion in 1999
  • Silver Medal in Gorakhpur for UP State Games in 1999
  • Champion of UP State Games and in 2001 at Aligarh
