Roman Bloodworth (born 3 July 1993 in Plymouth, England) is a British philosopher and Franciscan friar known publicly as Brother Piran-María. His work focuses on philosophy of mind, cognitive science, and cultural theory. Bloodworth has taught and conducted research at the Ronin Institute and the Birmingham and Midland Institute.

Bloodworth was born in Plymouth, England. He studied Theology and Philosophy at Newman University before completing a Master's in Philosophy of Mind and Cognitive Science at the University of Birmingham and a PhD in Cognitive Science at the University of Edinburgh.
