Roman Lewis (musician)
Roman Lewis (born March 27, 2001), is a UK singer, songwriter and guitarist.[1][2] His single, Mindless Town, came out in 2018, and his 7 song album, Heartbreak (for now), was released this year, 2019. In 2018, Roman was signed to Bright Antenna Records.
Early life[edit]
Roman Lewis is from London, UK. He grew up going to Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle. All his summers were spent in France, which has heavily influenced the stories and language of his songs.
Until his early teen years, Lewis solely played covers. At the age of 13, he started playing shows and was surrounded by musicians who played their own songs. This influenced him to do the same. Writing has now become his favorite part of creating music. At the age of 15, Roman recorded "Mindless Town," uploaded it to SoundCloud, where he started to gain exposure.
Sound[edit]
Lewis lists Radiohead and Nick Drake as his favorite bands.
His inspiration comes from thoughts and feelings. From an article published by The Five Ws of, Lewis explains that writing music "helps liberate things you didn't know you felt and let go of things you don't want to feel anymore."
