Ron Demers
Ron Demers (pronounced [dəmars]) is the chief meteorologist at KTIV in Sioux City, Iowa.
Demers grew up in Storm Lake, Iowa and graduated from Briar Cliff College in 1992 with a major in mass communications and a minor in music.[1][2] Ron learned meteorology at the Mississippi State University[3] and was awarded the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society in 1998.[4] He started his work at KTIV while he was in college as an intern. Demers has been Chief Meteorologist since 1996.[5]
