Rong Dhong is a 2024 Bengali-language Bangladeshi drama film, produced by Ahsan Zubair under the banner of Black Shine Production House and directed by Ahsan Sarwar. Various roles in the film are portrayed by Tarik Anam Khan, Lutfor Rahman George, Arman Parvez Murad, Faruk Ahmed, Swadhin Khasru, Shabnam Parvin, Jamil, Pran Roy, Arnab Khan, Sohel Mondol, and Ejajul Islam. The main story of the film revolves around deception and revenge.[1]
The film, made in 2016, was stuck in the censor board for several years and finally received approval for screening in 2023. It was released in theatres on November 8, 2024. The music directors of the film are Fuad Naser Babu, Pantho Kanai, Mahmudul Hasan Romance, Shamim Alam Bullet, and Tasnub.[2][3]

Production
The production of the film began in 2016. In 2019, the censor board instructed that several scenes of the film be removed. When the producers made changes to those scenes and resubmitted the film, it was declared "banned." The producer alleged that the film had been withheld without any logical reason. Later, after appealing to the appellate board, the film received permission for release and the ban was withdrawn.[8]
Music
The music directors are Fuad Naser Babu, Pantho Kanai, Mahmudul Hasan Romance, Shamim Alam Bullet, and Tasnub. The songs were sung by Pantho Kanai, Kishore, Sumit, Jamil Hossain, and Adi.[2] At that time, two songs from the film, "Boyosh 16-te Prem" and "Adbhut Prem Amar," created quite a buzz on social media.[9][10]
The song "Boyosh 16-te Prem" was released on September 22, 2016, on the Minute Film YouTube channel. D-Man Rahman and Ahsan Sarwar wrote the lyrics, and the song was sung by Adi.[7][11]
Release
On October 23, 2024, the teaser and on November 1,[12] the trailer were released on the Minute Film YouTube channel.[13]
The film was released in five multiplexes in Bangladesh on November 8, 2024, in competition with 36-24-36, directed by Rezaur Rahman.[14][15][16]
