Rooftop ReP
Adrian Jerome Paul Sandy (born January 24, 1991), known professionally as Rooftop ReP (also known as REP; stylized ReP), is a Trinidadian-American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer. ReP has been recognized as an influence on several
contemporary hip hop and alternative records and is considered a genre-bender in the industry for his diversity; he is known for his songs "Blackness", "All In My Head", and "Role Model". In 2014, ReP founded the Stadium Status Entertainment Group Inc.

Early life[edit]
Born Adrian Jerome Paul Sandy in Brooklyn, New York, raised between the Crown Heights and Flatbush parts of Brooklyn, neighborhoods notorious for violence, drugs, and economic disparity. While attending I.S. 285 Junior High School, ReP was a part of the school band playing several instruments and performing at school events. ReP would listen to instrumentals with his brother and childhood friend, having street ciphers throughout the Brooklyn area as a kid. However, in late February of 2000, his uncle Calypsonian artist Frosty Brooks. He gave ReP his first studio experience when he heard his raw talent and invited him to record his first professional song.
Career[edit]
Inspired by alternative hip-hop acts like Outkast and A Tribe Called Quest, ReP's poetic ability and cadence have captivated many, including notable names in music, receiving attention from Grammy producer Devo Springsteen and music mogul Damon Dash. Making a rare cameo in the video for ReP's single 'Swagger Mars,' in addition to being in the music video, some scenes shot at Dame's Poppington Art Gallery located in the Lower East Side. A track also hand-selected by Pro-skater Tony Hawk for use on his Ride Channel. In addition, ReP's music was also featured in the short film "Crossroads," world premiering at Cannes Film Festival in May 2016. ReP has also collaborated with several prominent acts, including Buckshot, Stalley, Kes, Da$h, Dj Pain 1, J.Ivy, Manolo Rose, Renee 6:30, and Ninjasonik, to name a few.
Personal life[edit]
The youngest out of four siblings, ReP navigated harsh realities from an early age after losing his mother a week after his 11th birthday, staying grounded through his family roots from the Caribbean country of Trinidad and Tobago. ReP enjoys skateboarding as a recreational sport and will launch a skate team under the TEAMReP movement. In addition, ReP is a dedicated pescatarian.
