Roomi is an online marketplace and app that allows its users to search for shared housing & roomates[2]. The app allows to instantly book a housing property and automate rent payments online.[3]
History[edit]
Roomi was started by serial entrepreneur Ajay Yadav as a solution to find the right roommates while renting. As of 2017, the company has raised $11 million from led by London-based Atami Capital, with participation from DCM, Great Oaks Venture Capital and others bringing up its total investment to $17 million.[4]
As of 2017, Roomi is available in 21 cities and has over 375000 users across North America.[5]
