Anih Elijah Chinecherem (Born 11 January 2002) better known by his stage name Rord Kelly, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and a record Producer. A native of Oduma, Aninri LGA Enugu state Rord Kelly was born and raised in Enugu. He started his music career in the year 2016 as a beat producer and a rapper, his first hit track was a Drill type song, and he is a hardcore rapper and also has a melody.

His debut studio single Verified Ogbe is said to be the first Igbo drill rap music.

Life and music career

Rord Kelly, a native of Oduma, Aninri LGA, Enugu state, was born and raised in Enugu. He moved to Lagos where he actually started his music career, dropping freestyles and covers on Instagram where he was inspired to push and get attention[2].

His friends played a big role in motivating him until 2021 when he dropped his first single verified ogbe followed up by an EP "Paper Chaser". Soon after the success of the project he got signed the same year to GBC record[3]

Rord Kelly furthered his education at University Of Nigeria Nsukka[4] where he studied Mass Communication in 2022.
