Overview[edit]
Rottweiler Life was founded by Ahmed Sobhy, an entrepreneur in 2008.[5] Sobhy had first started a Facebook page of the same name, which amassed popularity in a short while. Consequently, Sobhy had created the blog Rottweiler Life in 2012. According to him, he wanted to give a proper platform to Rottweiler owners which were lacking till then.[6]
In 2013, Sobhy started the YouTube channel for Rottweiler Life.[7] Shortly afterward, in the same year, Sobhy authored the e-book "Rottweiler Life: Secrets You Don’t Know About Rottweilers".[8] In 2014, the website won the award for being the Best Rottweiler Website.
More recently, in 2019, the organization’s e-commerce website, RottMart, was established. In 2020, Rottweiler Life was registered as a Media LLC Company based in Florida.[9]
Outreach[edit]
In 2014, the organization had hosted the Alexandria Rottweiler Show at Radisson Blue Hotel.[10]
The Facebook page, Rottweiler Life, was the first platform for the organization.[5] It was also the first Facebook page to be dedicated solely to Rottweilers. As of 2021, it has 1.5 million followers.[4] The primary focus of the page is to provide Rottweiler owners to connect and share experiences.[11] The page also functions as the primary platform where dogs are rescued and adopted. In 2021, nearly 2000 dogs were rescued by the organization.[12]
