Rownak Ehsan (Bengali: রওনক এহসান) (born 02 November 1999) is a Australian-born Bangladeshi footballer who plays as a winger or center forward. He currently plays for Dhaka Metro in Bangladesh Premier League.

Early life[edit]

Rownak Ehsan was born in the Australian town of Berry, NSW in 1998. He grew up in the suburb of Sydney. Rownak's parents migrated to Sydney from Bangladesh in the late 90s. At the age of 12, Rownak was playing for the Australian outfit Sydney Soccer. He scored a goal in an important match against rivals F.C. Copenhagen (FCK). After the match, the coach of FCK met him and offered him a place in the team. On 31 August 2017, Rownak made his debut for Bangladesh national football team against Nepal in the 2017 SAFF Championship U17.

Club career[edit]

Rownak scored 5 goals from 12 matches and won the player of the tournament award during 2017 Pioneer League and helped his club to get promoted to 2nd Division Football.
