Julian Kyula Global Ministries
Overview
Julian Kyula Global Ministries, commonly known as both Julian Kyula Global (JK Global) & JKM Global, is an independent and apostolic expression organization founded by Bishop Dr. Julian Kyula. Officially launched during the RUACH @ 18 Celebration on May 4, 2025, the organization functions as the parachurch division of RUACH Group. JKM Global is designed to provide global strategic oversight, apostolic mentorship, and kingdom leadership development across local and international church networks.
History
JKM Global evolved from the operational framework of Julian Kyula Ministries (JKM), which operated between 2021 and 2025. The rebranding to JKM Global marked a transition to full autonomy and global operational capacity, aligning the ministry with RUACH’s long-term 20-year Vision Document objectives. By 2027, JKM Global is slated to operate fully independently, offering international apostolic coverage and strategic leadership.
Mission & Mandate
- Mission: To cultivate Kingdom leaders, empower communities, and strengthen systems for global impact.
- Ministry Focus: Apostolic mentorship, church-planting oversight, prophetic gatherings, leadership conferences, and discipleship.
- Marketplace Engagement: Through strategic partnerships and integration with RUACH Enterprise, JKM Global encourages Kingdom influence across both ministry and marketplace sectors.
Key Activities
- Rhema Feast Global: Annual international prophetic conference gatherings for church leaders and Kingdom practitioners.
- Rhema Encounter Global: Weekly mid-week gatherings emphasizing authentic biblical teaching, prophetic ministry, and leadership mentoring.
- Church Network Oversight: Provides apostolic covering and patronage to RUACH’s Plant Churches and affiliated ministries and churches under RUACH Ministries International.
- Leadership Development: Mentorship programs for senior pastors, ministry leaders, and youth in leadership pipelines, including Trendsetters Ministries International through RUACH Leadership Institute.
Leadership
- Visionary Chairperson & CEO: Bishop Dr. Julian Kyula
- Resident Pastor (MD & CEO of Rhema Encounter Global): Pastor Kevin Owino
- MD & CEO of Rhema Feast Global: Pastor Pete Kariuki
- Operational Alignment: Functions as the apostolic and strategic oversight body for all RUACH Plant Churches, affiliated ministries, and global expansions.
- Governance: Coordinates with RUACH Assemblies International leadership, including Executive Leadership, Plant Church Senior Pastors, Pastoral Councils, and Trendsetters Ministries International General Overseers.
Global Reach
JKM Global serves as the apostolic anchor for RUACH’s local and international expansions, providing mentorship and operational guidance to church campuses in Kenya, upcoming in Uganda, Nigeria, and other global locations. Its network facilitates both spiritual and administrative support to ensure consistency in vision, teaching, and Kingdom impact both within and without RUACH.
RUACH Ministries International
Overview
RUACH Ministries International is the affiliate and apostolic network arm of The RUACH Assemblies Church. It exists to commission, resource and provide apostolic covering to independent or semi-autonomous church movements that align with RUACH’s vision, doctrine and apostolic ethos. The body enables collaboration between RUACH’s core assemblies and a broader circle of partner churches and ministries — facilitating church planting, leadership formation, conference partnership, and cross-network mission activity.
History & Development
- The affiliate commission was formalised through a commissioning service on March 24, 2019, where a set of partner fellowships received apostolic mandate at Rhema Centre.
- Over time RUACH Ministries International has grown to include both Commissioned Affiliates (formally commissioned at Rhema Center) and Connected Affiliates (which receive apostolic covering while remaining organizationally independent).
- As RUACH and the broader R-Group expanded (including the later establishment of JKM Global in 2025), RUACH Ministries International continued as the movement’s channel for external relational partnerships and apostolic oversight.
Mission & Mandate
- Mission: To extend apostolic oversight, resource church-planting, foster leadership development, and catalyse collaborative mission work with partner fellowships.
- Mandate: Commission and support affiliate churches; provide mentoring and leadership pipelines (often in partnership with RUACH Leadership Institute and Trendsetters); coordinate joint events (Rhema Feast, Rhema Experience) and enable cross-network resourcing.
Core Activities & Functions
- Commissioning & Apostolic Covering: Formal commissioning ceremonies, apostolic mentorship and spiritual oversight for partner church movements.
- Network Development: Building relational ties between The RUACH Assemblies Church and affiliated churches for shared mission, training and resource mobilisation.
- Leadership Formation: Coordinating leadership training and placements in partnership with RUACH Leadership Institute (RLI) and Trendsetters Ministries International.
- Conference & Event Partnerships: Co-hosting or resourcing events (e.g., Rhema Feast Global, Rhema Encounter Global) that unite affiliates for teaching, revival and training.
- Church-Planting Support: Sending teams, coaching planters, and providing incubation for new plants domestically and internationally.
- Strategic Collaboration with JKM Global: Working alongside Julian Kyula Global Ministries for wider apostolic mentorship and international outreach where appropriate.

- Kubamba Ministries (Pst. Moses Mathenge & Pst. John Njuguna)
Leadership & Governance
- RUACH Ministries International operates under the apostolic oversight of RUACH’s Founder and Apostolic Overseers (Bishop Dr. Julian Kyula and Rev. Amanda Kyula), coordinating closely with RUACH’s Pastoral Council and the movement’s executive leadership.
- Governance for affiliate relationships is relational and commissioning-based rather than a top-down corporate control; affiliates remain semi-autonomous but covenantally aligned to RUACH’s doctrine and strategic aims.
Relationship with The RUACH Assemblies Church & JKM Global
- RUACH Assemblies International: RUACH Ministries International functions as the bridge between the central assemblies and external partner churches — enabling resource flows, shared events and leadership pipelines.
- JKM Global: As JKM Global (Julian Kyula Global Ministries) expanded its apostolic footprint after 2025, RUACH Ministries International has coordinated with JKM Global for international mentoring, apostolic oversight and deployment of ministry initiatives across partner networks.
Geographic Reach
- Primarily Kenyan-based affiliate network with growing regional and international links (notably in Uganda and other East African contexts), coordinated through Rhema Grounds and RUACH’s conference platforms.
Notable Impact & Legacy
- Formalised an apostolic commissioning culture for partner churches starting in 2019.
- Enabled multiple affiliated churches to access leadership development, event platforms and apostolic covering without forfeiting local autonomy.
- Served as a relational mechanism for RUACH to scale influence through partnerships rather than direct church ownership — supporting contextualised ministry models across diverse communities.
