Rudrajit Mukherjee (born 10 April 1993) is an Indian television actor. He is known for his work in Saat Bhai Champa[1], Bijoyinee[2] and other television serials. He and actress Payel Dey won the best On-screen couple award at the tele academy awards 2015-2016.[3] He married actress Promita Chakraborty[4] on 14 February 2021, who acted as the female lead in Saat Bhai Champa.[5]
Early life
Rudrajit Mukherjee was born on 10 April 1993. He hails[6] from Purulia, a district in the Indian state of West Bengal. He spent his entire childhood in Purulia and later moved to Kolkata, a city in West Bengal, India. He was educated at Chittaranjan High School, Purulia. Right after completing his schooling, he had the opportunity to work as a model for a short time and gained prominence from 2013. His parents live in Purulia.
