History[edit]

2016[edit]

Rugged Maniac Virginia 2016 was held at the Virginia Motorsports Park, the site of a quarter-mile dragstrip, in Petersburg, Virginia. This venue is the largest Rugged Maniac single-day event in the United States, bringing in over 7,000 participants. Piotr Dybas won his fourth consecutive race in Virginia.[2] The event featured 28 obstacles over a length of 5 kilometers. The festival area hosted contests such as beer stein hoisting, pie eating, and pull-up competitions, as well as inflatable bounce houses for children. [3]
