Development[edit]
On June 23, 2020, STX Entertainment and XYZ Films was set to produce the psychological thriller “Run Rabbit Run” with Daina Reid directing from a script by Hannah Kent, and Elizabeth Moss executive producing the film with Lindsay McManus, Sarah Shaw, and Anna McLeish of Carver Films.[1] On December 2, 2021, STX Entertainment gave XYZ full control over production, and Deanne Weir and Olivia Humphrey of 30West replaced Moss and McManus.[2]
Casting[edit]
Along with the announcement, Elizabeth Moss was set to star in the film.[1] On December 1, 2021, Sarah Snook took over Moss’ role in the film.[2] On January 24, 2022, Damon Herriman, Greta Scacchi, Lily LaTorre, Trevor Jamieson, Neil Melville, Naomi Rukavina, Georgina Naidu, Genevieve Morris, Katherine Slattery, and Sunny Whelan were casted in the film.[3]
Filming[edit]
On June 23, 2020, filming was set to start in Australia.[1] On December 1, 2021, filming was set to start later that month in South Australia.[2] On January 24, 2022, Bonnie Elliott was hired as the director of photography.[3]
