THE ANSWER is an International award winning movie, a true story of an American , James Donald Walters based on his book The New Path. THE ANSWER is the Winner of 17 awards from among 48 nominations with official selections at 26 International film festivals. It revolves around the journey towards self realisation through a Guru disciple relationship, the quest for truth, which made the seeker, who later came to be known as Swami Kriyananda travel from his birth place Romania to Switzerland and England to USA where he finally at age 22 met his Guru, Paramhansa Yogananda, author of one of the most widely read spiritual classics of this century AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI.
SYNOPSIS
The Answer, is an epic motion picture that presents, for the first time on the cinematic screen, one of the most widely-known and revered spiritual master Masters of our times, Paramhansa Yogananda, through the living testimony and in the own words of his direct disciple Swami Kriyananda who lived with him and vowed to carry his light to future generations. The Answer is a motion picture set in 1920s 30s 40s and filmed across USA and Europe.
The movie is about the saga of Young Donald’s (later known as Swami Kriyananda) anguished search, of his momentary illuminations and dark nights, of his determination to never give up, and of the winding path that leads him to the presence of his spiritual master. In his quest, we recognize the eternal search peace under of every individual; through his inner battles, the discovery of our own inner strength; in his attunement with the expanded vision of his master, the hope for our own illuminations.
