Rupinder Kaur Sandhu (Born on 23 June 1991) is a social worker, a politician, a motivational speaker from Tarn Taran constituency of Punjab state and also a housewife. She started working for Aam Aadmi Party in February 2017 and in 2021 the Party honored her as District Vice President (Youth) for her contribution to the Party.

Early life

She was born in a middle-class Sikh family on 23rd June 1991 to father S. Gurdip Singh and mother Tarsem Kaur in Tarn Taran, Punjab, India. She completed her education at Government Girls School Tarn Taran and, as soon as she completed her studies, she started working as a tuition teacher in the Sewa Bharti NGO. She then realized that there must be a good government to take care of the homeless, parentless, and elderly people, so she started participating in peaceful protests and raising her voice for the needy people of her city.

Social work

She started working as a social worker when she was 18 years old. She worked as a teacher at Sewa Bharti NGO, where she taught poor children from slum dwellings. Getting involved in charity programs and participating in social affairs are some of her routines.

Political interest

As she was participating in social affairs, she realized that there must be an honest ruling government in the state to sort out the problems in the state like drug smuggling, land mafia, sand mafia, illegal possessions, poverty, and unemployment, etc., so she started researching political parties and finally found an honest party and honest leaders Sh. Arvind Kejriwal and Sh. Bhagwant Mann. So she started working as a volunteer in Aam Aadmi Party in December 2016 and started participating in the election campaigns of the party. Unfortunately, the party failed to form a government in 2017, but she didn't give up; she kept working for the party and its policies. In 2021, the Party honored her as District Vice President (Youth) of Tarn Taran District of Punjab.
