Sukhiy Ruslan Nikolaevich (born October 2, 1975) is a Russian entrepreneur, developer, and video blogger. Founder and CEO of RENTAVED investment and development company.[1]
Biography
Sukhiy was born in Leningrad in a family of a doctor. He is a great-grandson of the Soviet aircraft designer Pavel Sukhoi. Sukhiy is an economist by education: he graduated from Moscow State Academy of Water Transport in 1997 and from Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in 2002.
Business
Sukhiy started his career as a broker in an investment company. Later he started buying basements and flats on the first floors of apartment houses for subsequent resale.[2]
The RENTAVED company implements development projects in Moscow and the Moscow region, Saint Petersburg, Sochi. It's one of the few Russian real estate companies using the collective investment model.[3] Due to direct investments in infrastructure by its future users, the business model possibly creates a more favorable and "humane" urban environment[4] and protects the project from financial and other risks associated with bank lending or attracting a small number of major investors.
In 2021, RENTAVED was listed in the Russian Book of Records as a development company that raised more than 500 million rubles for a project in 1 month.[5] The total cost of RENTAVED projects for 2022 exceeds 6.5 billion rubles.[6]
In 2022, Sukhiy[7] announced a metaverse that allows investors and developers to find each other to be created soon.[8] After a project is evaluated by the company's experts, it will be digitized; after that any Internet user can visit a virtual tour of the facility using VR glasses, contact a consultant and conclude an agreement with one click.[9][10]
Video blog
In 2018, Sukhiy created a YouTube channel where he is a presenter.[11] The main topic of the blog is investment and real estate. Sukhiy also interviewed Russian entrepreneurs and politicians, notably Igor Rybakov, Sergei Polonsky, Mikhail Delyagin etc.[12] As of July 2022, the channel has 111 thousand subscribers and more than 10 million views.
