Russell Philip Reeder is an American technology executive. He is president and chief executive officer of XTIUM, a managed services provider formed from the combination of ATSG and Evolve IP in late 2024 and rebranded in 2025.[1][2]
Early life and education
Reeder earned a degree in computer information systems from James Madison University in 1994. The CIS major at JMU confers a B.B.A.[3][4]
Career
Rightsline
In the early 2000s Reeder served as chief executive of Rightsline, a rights‑management software company for media and entertainment businesses. The Los Angeles Times profiled the company’s approach to online rights and quoted Reeder as CEO; Variety also covered the firm.[5][6] He is a named co‑inventor on a U.S. patent assigned to Rightsline, Inc.[7]
LibreDigital
NewsStand Inc. (later LibreDigital) appointed Reeder president and CEO in 2008; LibreDigital was acquired by R.R. Donnelley in 2011.[8][9]
Media Temple and GoDaddy
Reeder became president and COO of Media Temple in 2012.[10] In October 2013, GoDaddy acquired Media Temple; reporting noted Media Temple would continue as a separate brand and that Reeder would remain as president.[11][12][13]
OVH US (OVHcloud)
In 2017 Reeder served as president and CEO of OVH US, the American unit of the French cloud provider OVH (now OVHcloud). That year OVH agreed to acquire VMware’s vCloud Air business; Fortune and Channel Futures reported the transaction, and Computer Weekly quoted Reeder in his role with OVH US.[14][15][16]
Infrascale and Netrix Global
In February 2020, Infrascale named Reeder CEO; he later became CEO of Netrix Global in January 2022.[17][18][19]
XTIUM (2025–present)
ATSG and Evolve IP announced a merger in late 2024 and rebranded the combined company as XTIUM in March 2025; Reeder serves as CEO.[20][21][22]
Boards and affiliations
Reeder has served on boards including the Flint Hill School (trustee), the Children’s Science Center (Northern Virginia Science Center Foundation), the James Madison University Madison Center for Civic Engagement (External Advisory Board chair), and the James Madison University College of Business Board of Advisors.[23][24][25][26]
