Rustamkhan

Rustamkhan - a work belonging to the series of Uzbek heroic romantic epics and was created approximately in the 15th-16th centuries. It consists of 5 epics ("Murod Khan", "Sultan Khan", "The Fairy of the Sun", "The Wounding of Rustam"), created on the basis of an epic plot based on a certain idea and reality. They are united around the main character Rustamkhan and his relatives (mother Hurayim, wife Oftoboy, father Sultankhan, grandfather Muradkhan) and their country (Aqtash). In the epics of Rustamkhan, the ideas of patriotism were advanced, bravery, true love, and justice were glorified. "Murodkhan" (1928) and "Rustamkhan" (1937) from the Rustamkhan series of epics were recorded for the son of Fazil Yuldosh and published (1965). There are also versions of Rustamkhan recorded by poets such as Mallaboy Hashimov, Melash Ermatov, and Olim Hakkulov. They are stored in the folklore archive of the Institute of Language and Literature of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.[1]
