Rūta Brazdžionytė, Sensei (Lithuanian pronunciation: [ruːtɐ brɐzdzʲoːniːteː]; born 5 January 1991) is a Lithuanian professional Kyokushin karate fighter, graduate of Master’s in Rehabilitation, PhD student in Biomedical Sciences, physiotherapist, and champion of the 2021 European Karate Championship.[1] She hold 8 European gold medals, 5 European silver medals and 1 European bronze medal. Brazdžionytė competed two times in the World Open Weight Karate Championship in Tokyo[2] (2011, 2015) where her highest place was 5th. She also competed in the World Karate Championship in Weight Categories[3], lightweight -55, (2013, 2017) where her highest place was also 5th. In 2020 she was presented with the 3rd Dan black belt and became a Sensei title owner.
