Ruth McCartney
Ruth McCartney (born Ruth Williams) is the step sister of Paul McCartney and Mike McCartney. Ruth McCartney and her mother, Angie McCartney, had earlier associated in 2016 with David Skinner to create the label Mrs Angie McCartney's Wines.[1]
Early life[edit]
McCartney was born at Walton Hospital at 2:05am on 15 February 1960 in Ward B3 in Liverpool. She began to study guitar, singing and dance at age four, adding piano lessons at age seven and guitar at age 12 at West Kirby Grammar School for Girls on the Wirral Peninsula, Cheshire.
Jim McCartney married widow Angela Williams—Ruth's mother—after only three meetings, on 24 November 1964. Jim was 62 and Angie was 34.[2] In June 1969, Paul McCartney found a book belonging to 8 year-old Ruth McCartney, which he used to create Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End.[3]
