Rutuja bagwe is an Indian Actress and Dancer. She is working in Marathi film industry since 2013. Her native language is Marathi. Her character Swanandi (on Z Marathi) earned her accolades on Television. She has worked in another daily soap tu maza sangati(on Colora marathi),Mangal sutra (fakta marathi) eka lagnachi tisri gosht(z marathi),pudhcha paul (star pravaha) josh telefilm (star pravaha), swamini (sahiyadri)Asmita (z marathi) Currently she is working in a marathi commercial play called “Ananyaa” She is also a theatre artist and has perfomred in several one act plays, Monoacts, Skits, 2 Experimental Plays and 3Commercial Plays. Currently she is acting in a commercial play Ananyaa which has received many theatrical awards and wide recognition. And she won 12 best actress awards for her performance in ananyaa. Also she is record holder in the India book of records for “most awards for a performance in a year “
Her upcoming films are Respect and Shahid Bhai Kotwal which are expected to be released in current year. She is a classical dancer (Bharatnatyam Visharad), a stage performer. Her talents also include horse riding, swimming, rifle shooting, archery, karate. She is from Raigad military school and won lot of medals in district and national level competition for karate. She is graduate in BSc mathematics from Maharshi dayanand mahavidyalay
