Ryan Colby is an American junior tennis player who achieved his highest ITF junior ranking of 82 on September 13, 2021. He has committed to play tennis at the University of Southern California.[1]

Colby was diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans in 2018 and was told by some doctors he would never play competitive tennis again.[2] A specialist cured him with a bone transplant.[3][2]

In 2021, Colby won the USTA National Clay Court Championships, reached the finals of the College Park J1,[3][4] and lost in the second round of the Boys Division of the 2021 US Open playing both Singles and Doubles.[5]

Colby trains at the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) in College Park, Maryland. He attended the JTCC School, which works with Laurel Springs School, a distance learning school.[6]
