Mihai George Serbanescu (born 23 February 1995) is an American professional tennis player currently competing on the ITF Men's Circuit Tour. From 2014-2016, he managed the Illinois Tech Tennis Club in Chicago, IL.[1] In 2016, he took the Illinois Tech Tennis Club to the 2016 USTA National Championships in Cary, NC.[2] He brought success to the club as President in 2016 as it won the 2016 United States Tennis Association (USTA) Midwest Club of the Year Award.[3][4] In 2016, the Illinois Tech Tennis Club became the first club in U.S history to have four players from one club compete in the U.S. Open National Playoff Championships (Serbanescu competing as one of the four participants).[2]
