Ryan Grantham (born 1998) was an American actor, and a convicted murderer. He is best known for his role in Diary of a Wimpy Kid as Rodney James [1] And his role in television series Riverdale.
In 2020, Grantham turned himself in for the murder of his mother [2].
Early life[edit]
Ryan Grantham was born in sometime of 1998 his mother was Barbara Waite, his father left his mother and Grantham at a young age. He practiced acting at a young age. Ryan was nine when he starred his first film in 2007.
Personal life[edit]
Grantham suffered from depression and struggled with suicidal thoughts.

On March 31, 2020, Grantham shot his mom within his home in Squamish, resulting in the death of his 64-year-old mother's life. Grantham reportedly captured the murder on camera.
Subsequently, Grantham devised a plan to target Prime Minister Justin Trudeau at his residence, Rideau Cottage.
However, after driving approximately 200km to Hope, Grantham had a change of plans and redirected his intentions towards Vancouver, contemplating a mass shooting. Potential targets included the Simon Fraser University campus or the Lions Gate Bridge.
However, Grantham ultimately decided to confess his earlier crime to the police upon arriving in Vancouver.
