S.M Sumsur Rahman (born 1 December 1987) also known as Shamsur Rahman Alvy is a Bangladeshi film producer and director. He began his professional career in audio-visual production in 2008, initially working as an Assistant Director and collaborating with many leading advertising companies.

He began his professional career in audio-visual production in 2008, starting as an Assistant Director and gradually establishing himself in the industry.
Career
He has over sixteen years of experience in advertising films and independent filmmaking. Throughout his career, he has worked on more than 200 ads, 10+ fictional narratives, and 2 mainstream films Live From Dhaka and Fatima. He also served as the Project Coordinator and Co-Producer for Coke Studio Bangla Seasons 1, 2, and 3. His first feature film, Live From Dhaka, received the Best Director and Best Actor awards at the Singapore Film Festival, gaining attention across various audiences. He is known for his keen attention to detail and consistent focus on his work.

In 2011, he completed his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from National University.
