s6 is an init system for Linux and other Unix-like systems created by Laurent Bercot.[1] It can be used for operating systems for system initialization and process execution. It can also be used for Docker containers to manage system initialization, process execution and monitoring. It is also used to manage multiprocess containers and as a service manager in a system.
