SADA Systems (also referred to as SADA) is a USA-based cloud computing consulting and digital transformation company.[5][4] Alongside a set of management tools, it provides a series of modular cloud services including computing, data storage, data analytics and technical consulting to enterprises and governmental institutions in the US and Canada.[2][6][7] ​​Established in 2000 by Hovig and Annie Safoian, it is headquartered in North Hollywood, California.[8]

SADA Systems (also known as SADA) was founded and incorporated by Hovig Safoian and Annie Safoian in 2000.[8] SADA first established a relationship with Google Cloud, a subsidiary of Alphabet Inc.. In 2005 and in 2006 the company began building connectors for Google's search appliance to Microsoft Exchange's infrastructure; then it continued to work with the Google's Software-as-a-Service.[9] In 2009, SADA joined the list of Microsoft's Office 365 resellers.[9]

In March 2019 SADA sold its Microsoft cloud unit for $25 million to Core BTS company and focused its business practice solely on Google Cloud services.[10] ​The company also hired Miles Ward and Michelle Ambrose, two former Google Cloud senior managers, as CTO and Chief of Staff.[4][11][12] ​The move strengthened its business partnership with Google Cloud[3] and eventually brought SADA to larger engagements with corporate clients and enterprises.[4]

In 2019, the company added a number of services such as Anthos First Step, Anthos Flat-Rate, Database Migration and VM Migration.[13][14]

In 2020, SADA Systems signed an agreement with Google Cloud to drive $500 million in managed services revenue over three years.[5] As the Wall Street Journal noted, "Services include installation and consulting of call center, hybrid cloud and analytics applications on Google Cloud.[5][15]

In January 2021, the company launched SaaS Alliance Program for SaaS providers with the focus on cost-optimization, training and scalability to GoogleCloud ecosystem.[16]

SADA Systems' notable clients include Arizona State Government,[17] the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT),[18][19][20] Hunterdon Healthcare,[21] MadHive Inc.,[22] Hackensack Meridian Health,[23] among others.

Operations and offices[edit]

The company's operations are mainly based on platform as a service and infrastructure as a service business model, where SADA acts as a reseller and executor of the GoogleCloud's technology. In 2019, the company open a satellite office in Toronto, Canada.[24] In 2020, SADA began establishing its Global Center for Technology Solutions in Yerevan, Armenia to expand its regional operations in the European cloud market.[25]

Car Racing sponsorship[edit]

Since 2017 the company has sponsored Steven Aghakhani, a car racing driver,[26] who competed in various racing events including the 2020 Lamborghini Super Trofeo in North America, Vincenzo Sospiri Racing in the Italian GT Championship,[27] the NASA Western States Championships.[28] and WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.[29] As the company claims, "Aghakhani's team applied car-generated data to optimize its racing strategy based on telemetry data using BigQuery and visualizing in Data Studio.[30]
