ShowBiz Town (SBTown) is a Philippine-based entertainment, talent management, event production and e-commerce business company established in June 2022 under the ShowBT Korea Group of Companies by Geong Seong Han (Tatang Robin). based in Makati, Philippines. With a Mission of "The Power that moves cultures"
History
SBTown was founded in 2022 as a talent agency focused on developing Filipino (P-pop) artists through intensive training programs similar to the South Korean idol system.[1]
2022: Launch of YGIG
In November 2022, SBTown introduced its first girl group, YGIG (short for You Go, I Go). The group was officially unveiled on November 24, 2022, and debuted with the single “Shaba Shaba.” [2]
YGIG was initially composed of seven members and aims to represent Filipino girl groups on the global stage
2023: Launch of PLUUS
In March 2023, SBTown announced and launched its first boy group, PLUUS. The group officially debuted on March 31, 2023, with their mini album PLUUS +.Y.M. [3]
PLUUS consists of six members and is part of SBTown’s expansion into the P-pop boy group market.
