SCP-173 is a Euclid class object with an unknown origin. SCP-173 is composed of concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP-173 is extremely hostile once line of sight is broken either by blinking or looking away. Once line of sight is broken, SCP-173 will speed toward the person at incredible speeds to snap the person's neck bones killing the person.
There have been several personal reports of scraping rock when there is nobody around or looking. At times we see a reddish-brown substance on the floor at times. The origin of this is unknown.
SCP-173 is 2.0 meters tall and weighs 468 kilograms.

In-Game
SCP-173 is the first SCP the player encounters. After the intro cutscene, SCP-173 will escape into a large ventilation system. After breach SCP-173 will appear in the next room where security chief Franklin alerts agent Ulgrin that SCP-173 is behind them and they both slowly walk away. Then SCP-173 goes away and kills a scientist and a janitor trying to escape. SCP-173 will follow the player every so often and will try to block doors and exits if it can. The SCP will spawn in locker rooms, catwalks, the small control room and sometimes in the metal corridors. As of the update v0.8 of the game, SCP-173 can spawn in the electrical room.
SCP-173 will hide behind corners and doors to avoid eye contact to sneak up on the player. When SCP-173 is nearby the player, the screen will blur and disorient a bit.
