SEEK Records [1] is a Warsaw-based[2] Polish electronic music independent record label and probably one of the first Polish digital music labels. It is owned by Martin Tigermaan and Piotr Jarecki aka Pimo both from the music project called Modfunk.[3][4] The record label was active in the years 2005-2011.
They specialized in releasing Polish Intelligent dance music and Electro house, and have been known for engaging artists to remix their tracks for exchangeable work in remixing participants'. Artists, DJ's and producers were from countries like: France, Germany, Belgium, Italy or Sweden. The most significant cooperation took place with the producer Philippe Zdar from the French duo called Cassius.[5]Collaboration regarding the song Showtime[6]has been immortalized by an animated music video, created by a Swiss graphic artist named Yehteh.[7]
