SMG Infosolutions Pvt Ltd (SMG) is an Information Technology company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. SMG develops Software solutions in the field of Facility Management. They make Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) Software solutions. These turnkey software+hardware solutions are used by large organizations.
History
SMG Infosolutions Pvt Ltd was established in August 1992 by Nilam Desai and Shailendra Goyal. Shailendra was an M.Sc. Electronics postgraduate. Nilam was a B.E.+MBA. They used to work together at Concept Computers before starting SMG. SMG was started on the day of Dussehra, in 1992.
Since then, SMG has come a long way. SMG will celebrate its 30th Anniversary in August 2022.
Geographical Presence
SMG Infosolutions is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Their customers are spread all over the world, the majority of them being Indian.
Products and Services
Over the years, SMG developed many products like PRO-II (ERP), Cinematix for cinema ticketing, ADWOQS to optimize and manage production in Fenestration industries. However, their most popular CAFM solutions are marketed under the brand name of AXIS® Gatepass

Visitor Management System[7]
Visitor Management System(VMS) is one of the most popular products of SMG. It can be used by any organization which has a regular influx of visitors. The new, upgraded version has touchless functionalities. It can be used by a multiple number of users at more than one location. It follows an approval workflow method and notifies the users of any overstaying visitors.
Contract Labor Management System[8]
Contract Labor Management System (CLMS) is a program for those organizations who have a lot of contract workers going in and out of the gate. The application takes care of the government Labor policy and the mandatory leave policy.
Canteen Management System[9]
Using the Canteen Management System, the employees/guests/workers are able to book/buy their meals. It uses different logics to apply the rules made by the organization. Some level of customization is also made to the program as per the needs of each organization.
Returnable/Non-Returnable Gatepass[10]
This module takes care of all the material items that go in and out of the organization. They are either returnable or non-returnable.

For the employees of an organization, it is a portal where they can request the company vehicles and the managers can approve/club requests.

This software allows the users to book the meeting room/conference room for future meetings. It saves time. It can be used on multiple sites by multiple users.
Employee Outpass[14]
When an employee on duty has to leave the campus, one uses this software. It helps in managing and authorizing the leaves. It marks the entry and exit as well.
Smart Electronic Keybox[15]
A keybox is a necessity for any organization, big or small. It stores the keys in the box securely and only allows authorized personnel to open the box. It also provides a receipt of all the activities.
ADWOQS
Axis ADWOQS is a Doors Windows optimization and Quotation software application for the design, optimization, and quotation of Aluminum & UPVC windows and doors. This application is designed for the specific needs of Aluminum & UPVC doors and window makers and fenestration industries.[16]
