ST-Log was an American computer magazine focused on the Atari ST series of personal computers. It was a spin-off of the Atari 8-bit magazine, ANALOG Computing. It competed with STart, a similar ST-devoted magazine spun off by ANALOG's competitor, Antic. It was published from April 1986[2] to October 1989, a total of 36 issues.
In 1988 the company was sold to Larry Flynt Publications (LFT) and moved to Beverly Hills, CA.[1] Issues published after the move have been released for publication online.[3] The magazine closed with the October 1989 issue; ST topics were then covered in the ongoing publication of ANALOG.[4] ANALOG was only published until December 1989 due to problems with their printing company,[5] and editor Lee H. Pappas's decision to focus on their new magazine, VideoGames & Computer Entertainment.[6] Subscribers to ST-Log were offered a refund or a free subscription to STart.[7]
