SVGator is an online animation tool for web and mobile applications. The keyframe-based software lets users create static or animated SVG, GIF, video, and other formats. It was the first cloud-based online tool that let users work in a WYSIWYG interface without coding.The name "SVGator" is a portmanteau of the words "SVG" and "Animator".[1]

SVGator was first launched in 2017 as an SVG animation software. In 2020 the tool went through a complete remake and SVG 2.0 was released with a completely new interface that allowed more control over the animations and included advanced animators, custom easing functions, and interactive export options.[3]
In 2020 SVGator introduced a freemium plan that allowed users to test all the features and import a few projects per month with basic animation effects.
On May 12, 2021, a new version was released: SVGator 3.0[4] came with an SVG creator that let users create their SVG files from start to finish in a single application.[5]
In 2022 SVGator launched a series of new export options, offering the possibility to create animated stickers, social media and newsletter animations, video assets and more.[6]
